After viewing The Thorne Group show homes over the past 2 years, we decided to enquire how we could turn our dreams into reality. Peter and Aaron from The Thorne Group worked with us to develop a concept that was not only unique and high quality but very affordable. Last year I moved into my lovely new home built for me by "The Thorne Group." I must admit that I did wonder what on earth I was doing building a home on my own and how the stress of doing so would get to me. It is with much pleasure that I can say that it was a totally stress free project and I actually enjoyed it. Aaron Thorne "The Project Manager "was the most efficient, helpful, caring, and happy person that I have ever worked with. Nothing was to much trouble and anything that was not right was immediately attended to by Aaron. He went out of his way to make things easy for me.

The builders where also great to work with, as were all the sub contractors. The result to me was a wonderful well built home and I would not hesitate to recommend the Thorne Group to anyone wanting to build a new home. If anyone should want to visit my home, I would be more than happy to show them my great house.

After viewing the 'Thorne Group' show home we immediately found the 'WOW' factor we had been looking for, for so long. We knew this project was right for us. From day one Peter Buck, Director came into focus with his excellent management skills, people management skills and product knowledge. This was delivered from a remarkably high standard. We were both treated with the utmost of respect and professionalism.  Guiding us through the development stage was a breeze, stress free, and a pleasant experience.

Tim and I have thought a couple of days over your request of writing a paragraph about our experience with the Thorne Group and living in Jude Way. I thought something special and funny will emerge after a while. But the first spontaneously thought we had is still the most honest one:

"Quite simple: We feel at home! It's pleasure to live here and you all from the Thorne Group have done a wonderful job.

It may sound simple, but as I said "We feel at home" and that's really the most important thing for us.

What a surprise. After watching development at Urban Ridge, we visited the original show home  and were impressed with the high quality at an affordable price. At  an age when our friends are moving into retirement villages or units in town we were attracted by the opportunity to build in a new area, handy to buses, supermarkets and other facilities whilst enjoying a village atmosphere so often missing from a new subdivision.

After previous experiences of building a new house,we were not prepared for the service and attention offered by the Thorne Group. The assistance in choosing from the excellent options available to us was amazing and the finished house is a constant pleasure to live in.

The whole contract was carried out efficiently and on time within the quoted price and we have been pleasantly surprised at the additional attention to subsequent matters that has been readily offered.

An added bonus has been the the friendly environment created by the diverse background and interests of residents and the opportunity to be involved in development plans as the subdivision progresses.

Far from being the stressful experience that is often experienced when building a new house,  we have enjoyed the whole process from start to finish.

Choosing Thorne Group to build our pre school was the best decision we ever made!

Our process began with 4 tenders, we chose The Thorne Group as it was important for us to not only trust their capability as builders but to be able to communicate with us throughout the build as we both were working full time. Every decision that was made was in consultation with us, which for us was extremely important as this was our first build. Our weekly meetings were awesome as this was not only an opportunity to catch up regarding the pre-school’s progress but allowed us to get to know each other better (there were lots of laughs).

Peter, Aaron and Gavin did their upmost to ensure that our needs were met and the end result was exactly as we expected.
The Thorne Group’s employees were extremely professional, helpful and polite at all time, nothing was too much trouble, this also applies to sub contractors used.
We hope to build again and would have no hesitation in choosing The Thorne Group.
